Want to know what it's like to be old?

I laughed when I read this (in my behavior modification book). Apparently this is what I get to look forward to as I age. haha

Craftiness
Here are a few crafts I have been working on.........#1
Here is my "P" plate. It looks splotchy because it needs another coat of finishing spray. I really like how it turned out. I gave it the antique look by taking a razor blade and taking some paint (look at it close up). I love the yummy brown color. If you want to learn how to do it, go here. It was way cheap and easy to do - my 2 favorite things!

I believe Nic's sister (Cherise) made this. This is hanging to the right of our stove and I like to hang the recipe that I'm making for dinner on it. I decided that it need a little something, so I added "whats cooking." Nothing special, but I like how it added a little something extra.

If you can't read this, it says "plastic bags." Anytime Nic and I go grocery shopping, we keep our plastic bags. Well I didn't have a nifty bag to put them in, so instead I used this lovely plastic pretzel container. I took off the pretzel label and added my own label. It's nothing special, but now they aren't hanging on our back door, getting in the way and annoying me everytime I open our door.

Chalkboard block. Mine isn't very decorative but I love the flower touch. You can learn to make it here. Once again, very easy and cheap. Fun to write the date or leave someone special a little note.

Tay's Blessing
Friday, Nic and I headed to Medford for a youth temple trip. I love the temple! I always feel so calm and peaceful inside those walls. It was wonderful to see the youth of our ward have a desire to attend the temple. We stayed with the in-laws and on Saturday, we headed to Portland for this little girl:
Isn't she beautiful? I love her double chin. We met up with Dani and her fam, Ben and his fam, and my rents at OMSI. We then headed to Chuck E Cheese's. This was Nic and I's first experience at this chaotic place.
It was absolutely crazy! The kids had a great time playing games, and even Nic and I had fun playing some games. There were so many kids there! We then headed to Ben and Sharon's and stayed there for the night. We ate yummy snickerdoodle cookie dough and watched tv. The next morning we headed back to PLand for Taytum's blessing - the blessing was beautiful.
Here's me with the beautiful babe in her beautiful dress (my mom made it). I was getting my practice in. ;) 
Here is the Harmon family on their wonderful day. We headed to the park for some lunch and fun in the sun. We said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. It was sad to say goodbye to the Harmon family, because they are headed to Boise for good. It was a great weekend and fun to see family on both sides! :)

Say CHEESE!
Nic and I got a new camera - Samsung SL620! Woo hoo! Our old one slowly died on us, so we got this baby:
We are way excited about it. It's super nice and we can't wait to start taking pictures with it! :)
