As you can see by watching the video, these "guests" are not welcome in my home! These guests will not find hospitality from me - no way. We have put some Liquid Any Bait and hopefully that will get them to die and leave me be. They are tiny, but I hate ants! Ew. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. Next step is to find out where they are coming from...

Hey we had/have an ant problem too. Stupid carpenter ants, the little ones with wings so they were flying all over our place. Belle had a fun time with them though. What we got are these little houses/containers that have "food" in them. What the ants do is take it back to their nest. Little do they know, their "food" is actually poison. The things are cheap so you may want to try that too. There are some good sprays on the market as well. Hit me up if you have questions.
Yeah, like Sam said, we used those little ant houses at home, and I've also used them at work, and they seem to work really well.
I totally feel your pain. We had sugar ants my the hundreds in our last appartment and they were a PAIN to get rid of. At least yours are only on your floor, our little guests were in our cupboards and in our FOOD!!! So gross. Traps did not work for us, we had to have someone come and spray, and it finally did the trick.
Also, I laid Cal on our bed to change his diaper the other day, and I noticed an ant on our bed. I lifted Cal up and there were like 20 under him.....I was freaking out thinking we had ants again....and SO GROSS that they were on our bed. We killed them and haven't seen any since.....and they had better not come back because they are not welcome on our home either!!!
ewwwwww..........
I love the whole, "if I lifted this up you'd be disgusted, so I'm going to lift it! AH! I CAN'T!"
miss you. lots.
alli!!! you are so dang funny!!! i had ants in one of my flats on my mission, and they were biting ants! they hurt so bad!!! window cleaner works to kill them. you just spray them and they die, i actually dumped it on them. i think the acetone kills them. good luck!
Hi! I'm a friend of the Skabelunds and I totally stalk your blog... sorry! Anyhoo wanted to give you a tip for ALL ants. Sugar, carpenter, any of them! Mix 1 part distilled vinegar and 1 part water and spray it EVERYWHERE!! On your floor boards, door jams, counters, EVERYWHERE!! They don't like the smell or the acid and stay away. I do it every other week and it keeps our house ant free! :)
OK--here is my two bits....my "bug man" told me the only way to really kill the ants is to give them a poison that they carry to the "queen" ant. That is the only way to permantly get rid of them. You may have to call the "bugman" to find out what it is, but it worked for us. Love the video...made me laugh--hahahaha!!
