It's official: I can eat with chopsticks now. Highly satisfying and the food does taste better (you were right mom). It only took 5 people to teach me. Thanks to Nic, Craig, Lyle, Cory and our waiter. Another goal crossed off my list.
(I wish I would have moved my bangs. It's the one-eyed look.)

HaPpY sT pAtRiCkS dAy

I had to do something green for the festivities. (I'm sure this holiday would be better with kids). I made green sugar cookies - they were tasty.

ChAnGeD iTeM

I have started swimming at the Ella Redkey Pool and this morning I decided to time myself swimming a 500 (20 laps). Well...I swam it in 8 minutes and 59 seconds. Do you know how excited I was when I stopped the clock? Seriously so proud of myself! I'm not trying to gloat or brag, but the last time I swam a 500 was my junior year of high school, swim team, 2003. haha
Changed item #85. Original: Swim a 500 in 15 minutes or less. New and improved: Swim a 500 in 7 minutes and 30 seconds or less.
I love to swim.

Adoption update. We are moving along in Phase 2. We think all of the actual paperwork is turned in...finally. There was so many papers to be filled out. You can fax most papers to them, but they really do want the originals of almost everything. No biggie though. April is an exciting month. There are some classes that we have to take - course specific (don't ask me on what because I can't remember right now). It's an Oregon requirement. After much researching done by Nic and phone calls he made, our options are: #1 travel to Portland in April and have 3 days worth of classes. Free classes. Just pay for gas to get up there. No tests to take. #2 take the classes on-line and pay over $200 for them. No thanks. Take tests. Obviously we're going to choose option #1. The next class aren't held again until August. April will also bring one of the final steps of Phase 2: last of the interviews and the home study. Our case manager will come about mid-April and just bust out everything in a couple of hours. After all of this is done, we pay the application fee, which pretty much says we are ready to take a baby ANYTIME. Ahh!!! I seriously can't believe we are so close to having our names out there and placement. It seriously seems so unreal. We have been trying to start our family for almost 2 years now. It seems like it hasn't take us a long time to get here, but at the same time it seems like it's taken FOREVER. Things are winding down and then the waiting game can begin. :)

# 34 & # 92

I wanted to post some pictures about my 101 in 1001 (#71). I've already posted 3 post-it notes in 3 different library books (#92):
Post-it in a penguin book about adoption
#34. I started reading "Autobiography of a Face." About a woman that was diagnosed with cancer in her jaw at age 9. Sad thus far. Unsupportive mom.
Post-it note in a book from another library book.
Post-it note accomplishes #92 and #94
I've completed 4 tasks. Go me.
