First time for everything

Our camping trip with Chris and Jocelyn began Friday. We were on our way to Harris Beach. We were driving in the car and this was our attempt at taking a pic - we did end up with a good one but this one is crazy! We set up camp and of course, headed down to the beach. It was really foggy but that didn't stop us. Photo opp with Jocelyn: Foggy scenery at Harris Beach: We came back to watch the sunset. Chris and Jocelyn. We had a yummy dinner and sat around the fire into the night. We woke up on Saturday am with intentions of going beach hopping and instead woke up to rain. We headed to Mattie's for breakfast to see what the weather would do. We came back to our campsite and was greeted by this: 4 inches of standing water. This was the only dry spot in our campsite: Plan B: What the heck do we do? Do we go home? Do we try and find somewhere else to camp? I didn't want to go home. Thankfully we got a full refund back at our campsite. The rest of the forecast for the weekend was rain rain and more rain. So we headed to Crescent City hoping to find different weather at least for the day until we found out what to do. Nic loved flying his kite at this beach because it was so dang windy! Look ma! No hands! We decided to drive around to see if we can find another campground...
